In 2004 Balpara (Bayside Drafting) used AutoCAD 3D modelling techniques to model and shop detail this complex MCG structure, which had variances in all areas, including:

  • Radial bay widths
  • Mast lengths
  • A roof structure following the profile of the Oval ground

The works were performed for Alfasi Steel Constructions P/L and included the Bowl, Main Roof & Cable Net compenents. The building works were completd in 2006 by Grocon.
