Project Management

Balpara’s project management system has stringent quality controls and transparent checking procedures to eliminate potential errors early. Balpara’s protocols for electrical design projects include:

• Dedicated project manager and team per project
• Senior Engineer and draftsperson independently check drawings
• Quick and safe delivery of all documentation; electronically, via courier or in person
• Availability of team members to attend relevant client meetings to discuss progress & enhancements
• Queries and responses provided in writing
• Site visitations conducted according to current HSE policy

Consulting Services

Balpara outsources its technical experts to assist clients in managing resources and projects.  With a growing demand for technical skills, Balpara offers access to experienced professionals who can work at client premises, if and when required.

Occupational Health & Safety

Safety is our key priority - we have a corporate OHS Policy, a dedicated OHS Manager and a number of task specific OHS  procedures in place. Through periodic audits and an online system with OHS modules, as well as regular employee training, we minimise the risk of injury to our staff.

We also expect our employees to actively create a safe workplace for themselves, their fellow workers and the public.

Balpara’s safe work processes include:

• Induction and ongoing training; ie  first aid, confined spaces, entry into enclosures, working at heights
• Personal protective equipment and clothing
• Injury, Incident and Hazard reporting and management
• Working alone procedure
• Workplace assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs)
• Monthly HSE meetings and regular safety communications
• Regular inspections & testing of equipment   

Balpara employees conducting site visits are trained to identify hazards, assess risks and implement hazard risk controls.
